Every month I reconcile the garden the same way I close the books: count every seed packet, weigh the compost, and log every drop of water used. Waste is never acceptable when you are planning for a lunar supply run.

The same discipline applies at scale to orbital logistics. Every gram must be tracked.
Practical Steps: Garden Audit
- Verify opening balances against last month’s ledger.
- Physically count stock on the first of each month.
- Record all inputs and outputs in a single journal.
- Investigate any variance greater than 2 % immediately.
- Close the month only after the books and the beds agree.
